33 | Photo Art by Sally | Photo-Art
Most of my work starts with a high quality photograph and then I use my watercolour work, computer technology and my imagination to produce a finished piece of work. My pictures are complex, some with an air of mystery depicting scenes out of this world, stimulating the imagination: some are layered bursts of colour and light that appeal to the senses, others are familiar local scenes with a subtle twist. All are thought-provoking

40 | Carolyne Kardia | Painting • Sculpture
Paintings and sculptural installations aim to celebrate pigment and the existence of temporal forms in space. Sculpture is cast in plaster on site responding to the specifics of the architectural space. Forms slowly evolve, building complex constructions pushing the material to its limits. Paintings in differing media explore colour, its responses to various applications ultimately affirming its implicit resounding characteristics. Ink drawings trace the ability of line to entrap space within two-dimensions. Developing the relationship between the two and three-dimensional creates a dialogue across their boundaries aiming to echo form with colour and colour with form.

55 | Rosie Britton | Contemporary oil paintings
My paintings celebrate some of the ways in which mankind has enhanced the landscape, whether by creating field-systems or gardens, building castles or villages, or setting sail on an azure sea!
Using a feather with as much pleasure as a palette knife, working sometimes figuratively and at others more abstractly, I try to combine energy and spontaneity with a joyous exploration of colour.
Currently I am also exhibiting at the John Leach Gallery, Muchelney.
