The Bridport Open Studios event in 2008 runs from 23rd to 25th August.

Welcome to Bridport Open Studios 2008, our tenth annual event highlighting the exciting and vibrant art scene here in our little corner of Dorset. We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to meet the artists and see the settings in which they produce their works, from the thriving hub of studios in the town to the beautiful countryside surroundings of the village venues. You will have the opportunity to see an oil painting demonstration, watch performance art and have a go at weaving. The quality and diversity of work being produced locally is impressive, so why not visit as many venues as possible.

We would like to thank all the participating artists, and especially welcome all those involved for the first time. Well done to one of these, Jemma Thompson, and to Kit Glaisyer, for their lovely front cover design.
