John Boyd | Painting
John exhibits in two prominent West Country galleries, Peter Hedley Gallery, Wareham and the William Pelly Gallery, Lyme Regis. He has won several awards
including Best Landscape Award 2006 with the Dorchester Art Club. Subject matter varies from still life to the figure and also sea/landscape. Painted in
watercolour or oils John works mostly directly from the subject, sometimes making excursions to collect information and returning to the studio to complete
and produce a finished picture.

David Brooke | Painting, Drawing
David works mainly with acrylic paint,
either on paper or canvas. Themes for his paintings often originate from mythology, although interpreted and embellished by his imagination, sometimes the pictures create the feeling of myth or folk-tale although not
based on any actual story. There is often
something of a humorous or quirky nature
about his work. David was born in Somerset,
but now lives and works in Dorset. He is a
Past President of the Society of Graphic Fine
Art. He is also a member of the Society for
Art of the Imagination and the Bath Society
of Artists.

Ian Dunn | Painting
My principle influences include the American painters of the
20th Century, such as Albers, Newman and Rothko. The
forms I use in my paintings are taken from Pythagorean
Geometry. I use these as a formal basis upon which to apply
intense colour. My purpose is to illustrate this 'Geometric
Language' as that which links us to Nature and to the
Cosmos.

Diane Eckett | Painting, Collage
Diane: Following on from an exhibition in the Arts Centre in May 2006 in
which I displayed a series of black and white charcoal drawings of Dorset
scenes, I have been mixing pen and ink drawings with acrylic paint,
producing a collage effect. I am currently working quite small using images
that are thought-provoking, almost ethereal and strongly linked to the local
landscape and sea.

I make rustic baskets in a variety of styles and sizes from local organic
hedgerow plants, on sale in Otterton Mill & Dansel Galleries. I do illustrations
and I draw quick caricatures for hire (at reasonable rates) for corporate
functions, birthday parties, etc. I lead workshops in arts, crafts, dance and
environmental arts, for both public and private events. I'm currently leading a
